Every Qantas and QantasLink domestic flight arrives here. If you are landing from Sydney, Brisbane, Adelaide, Perth, Canberra or a regional Queensland or New South Wales port on a QF or QFA flight number, this is your terminal.
Arrivals on the ground floor
Baggage carousels sit on the same level as the exit, so there is no escalator between you and the kerb.
Connected to T2 and T3
Terminals 1, 2 and 3 are one continuous building. If your booking says a different terminal you can walk there under cover in a few minutes.
Domestic timing
No customs and no immigration, so most people are outside within 15 minutes of the aircraft parking. Carry-on only and it is closer to five.

Your driver waits at the kerb outside the Terminal 1 arrivals doors. You get their name, photo and plate number by text before you land, along with the exact spot to walk to.

Collect your bag and walk straight out of the arrivals doors. Your driver is already tracking the flight and moves to the kerb as you land.

Terminal 1 questions
Is Terminal 1 domestic or international?
Domestic. Terminal 1 handles Qantas and QantasLink domestic flights only. Every international arrival at Melbourne comes through Terminal 2.
I have a Qantas flight but my booking says T3. Which is right?
Trust your boarding pass. Qantas uses Terminal 1 for the great majority of domestic flights, but codeshare and seasonal changes happen. Give us your flight number and we track the terminal ourselves, so you do not have to.
How long will you wait at T1?
20 minutes of free waiting on a domestic arrival, counted from when the aircraft is on the ground rather than from the time you booked. Domestic bags rarely take that long.
Can I be picked up from T1 if I landed at T4?
Yes, though there is no need. Terminal 4 is a separate building a few minutes south, and your driver simply meets you at whichever terminal you actually land at. Give us the flight number and it is handled.
Do you do Terminal 1 departures too?
Yes. For a domestic departure we suggest arriving about 90 minutes before the flight, or two hours in school holidays, and we set the pickup time from that.
