T1 is not next to T2 and T3
Runway 16R/34L runs between the international terminal and the two domestic ones. Sydney Airport tells connecting passengers to allow 30 minutes to an hour. T2 and T3 are side by side, so the only Sydney terminal mistake that really costs you is confusing T1 with either.

How much free waiting do I get?
45 minutes on an international arrival and 20 on a domestic one, counted from when the aircraft is on the ground rather than from the time you booked.
