Terminal 1 is Perth's main international terminal and it also handles domestic flights for Jetstar, Qantas and Virgin Australia. It sits on Airport Drive with Terminal 2, a ten minute drive from Terminals 3 and 4.

International, plus Jetstar, Qantas and Virgin
Emirates, Singapore Airlines, Qatar Airways, Cathay Pacific, Malaysia Airlines, Garuda, Air New Zealand and the rest of the international carriers arrive here, alongside domestic services from Jetstar, Qantas and Virgin Australia. Qantas uses T1 only for Christmas Island and Cocos services; its other domestic flights are at T3 and T4.

Passport control and baggage on an international arrival are unpredictable in a way a domestic arrival is not, so the free waiting here is more than double the domestic allowance.
Ten minutes from T3 and T4
Perth runs two separate terminal precincts. T1 and T2 are on Airport Drive; T3 and T4 are on Brearley Avenue. The airport puts the drive between them at ten minutes, and there is a free transfer bus.

This is the terminal most likely to be guessed wrong, because it is not international-only. Give us the flight number and we send the car to the terminal the airline is actually using that day.

Your driver waits at the kerb outside the T1 arrivals hall. You get their name, photo and plate number by text while you are still in the baggage hall, along with the exact spot to walk to.

Clear customs, collect your bag and walk out through the arrivals doors. Your driver has been watching the flight since it left and is at the kerb before you are.
If you are held up
You have 45 minutes of free waiting from the moment the aircraft is on the ground, and a delayed flight moves the pickup rather than costing you anything.

How long will you wait if customs is slow?
45 minutes from the moment the aircraft is on the ground, free. Beyond that we stay in touch rather than leaving.
Is T1 international only?
No, and this is where Perth catches people out. Jetstar, Qantas and Virgin Australia run domestic services from T1 as well. Several airlines operate from more than one terminal here.
How far is T1 from T3 and T4?
A ten minute drive. They are separate precincts on different roads, connected by a free transfer bus that runs every 20 minutes through the day and every 30 minutes overnight.
Can you meet me inside?
Yes. A meet-and-greet inside the arrivals hall with a name board is available on request when you book. Kerbside is the default because it is faster.
How far is the Perth CBD?
About 12 km. It is a short run, and the fare is fixed before you book either way.
